A tip off to the police about drug trafficking from a cart shed in Qormi led to the police vice squad apprehending a 21-year old man from Qormi when heroin and cannabis were found in his possession on Sunday morning.

The police said that when the man was stopped they found cannabis on him and an amount of money, while in the shed they found packets of heroin and scales. Searching in the shed’s environs the police also found more heroin packets, all ready to be sold.

The young man is expected to be arraigned in court soon.
