I'm glad that John Saliba (TMID, 3 December) has finally decided to “be fair and stick to facts” and give “historical merit” where due by acknowledging that it was Dr Paul Boffa (then Leader of the MLP), who proposed that the vote for women should be included in the 1947 Constitution.
This was the main reason I intervened in this correspondence so, like Mr Saliba, I can now consider it closed.
Victor Laiviera,
Naxxar.
