Joe Cristina’s argument (The PN needs to lose, TMID, 4 December) would hold water if, and that is a big ‘if’, the Labour Party showed the slightest signs of being on a par with the Nationalist Party when it comes to governing the country with competence, prudence, frugality, vision and trustworthiness.
Presenting plans without costing, avoiding public debate and developing policies on the run does not induce the voter to give a chance to Labour.
True, the PN has been in power for a number of years, but certainly, the option to vote for the return of mediocrity is definitely not in the works.
