The New Choral Singers, under the direction of Robert Calleja will present their annual Christmas concert Musical Tidings on 12 December at the Parish of the Apostle St Bartholomew in Gharghur, and on 14 December at the Parish Church of the Assumption in Attard. Both concerts will commence at 7.15pm.

This year’s repertoire includes a variety of traditional and Negro spiritual carols by both international, and Maltese, composers that are bound to appeal to audiences of all ages.

Furthermore, adopting a forward looking and innovative style, the choir has this year, expanded its Christmas selection to include music by Peter Sellern’s Were you there? and the beautiful lullaby Lullay by Karl Jenkins amongst others

Whilst entrance to the concerts is free of charge, members of the general public are cordially invited to join The New Choral Singers as they herald the advent of Christmas in this heart-warming activity for audiences of all ages.
