After 17 years of continuous rehearsing, song writing and gigging, local rock band The Myth, one of the longest standing rock bands in Malta, has finally released its long awaited debut single. Originally written in 1996, Sworn Independent was recorded last month at Doyaya Recording Studio and hit the airwaves on 30 November.

Just a few hours after releasing their single, The Myth gave an unplugged live performance at Bay Street. Besides including some of their classic tracks such as Master of Death and The Anthem in their repertoire, The Myth also included an unplugged version of their freshly-released single.

Throughout their career, The Myth have supported live international acts such as Smokie in 1999, Status Quo in 1998 and the UK’s official Eagles Tribute Band in 1996.
