Chiara Hyzler has only been involved in the theatre world for four years but already she is taking it by storm. Known best for her love of all things comic, both on and off stage, she has taken part in numerous pantos and one-act plays (all for MADC). Currently a third-year student reading for a degree in Business Management and Public Policy at the University of Malta, she is excited to be playing the coveted role of Principal Boy Jim in this year's MADC panto Pirates of the Mediterranean to be held at the Manoel Theatre from 26 December to 13 January 2008. 12 March 1986, which makes me 21 and a Pisces.

What would you like to be doing in 10 years’ time?

That’s a tough one. I barely know what I’m doing this evening. But I would have to say I hope to be making a difference somewhere, possibly in Africa.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Sitting down with a plate of pasta Carbonara and a game of ‘Cranium’!

What is your favourite occupation?

Probably working for the United Nations.

Grasshoppers!

I value their honesty, good hearts and incredible support, even though they’re raving lunatics!

Why, did I say something wrong? However I die, I hope it’s peacefully.

My travels!

Don’t have any.

My drum set!

Which talent would you most like to have apart from the ones you already have?

I would love to be able to paint, every time I’ve tried; it always looks like I sneezed!

Depending on material things.

Where would you like to live?

In a cosy little cabin up in the Scottish Highlands.

My sarcasm.

Who are your heroes/heroines in real life?

As cliché as it sounds, my heroes are my parents. My father for his generous heart, wisdom, and his lack of musicality! And my mother for her love, support and strength. She is the greatest example I

follow.

Herbs!

Sometimes to stay sane, you have to go a little crazy!
