Piano Lunchtime Concert

The fourth Performers Platform Concert in the series of Valletta Lunchtime Concerts is a Piano Recital by Ian Peter Bugeja (right). The concert, organised by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts, will take place next Friday 14 December at the Music Room, St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta. During this concert works by Bach, Mozart, Schubert and Albeniz will be performed.

Ian Peter Bugeja, aged 18, began his music studies in theory of music and piano at the age of seven. At present, he is studying piano at an advanced level with Maria Dolores Amodio Chircop L.R.S.M. Ian has participated in various productions and concerts, including masterclasses with Prof. Siegfried Mauser, Penelope Haydock, and Mro Franco Fodera`. Ian obtained a Board Prize in his Grade VI examination of the A.B.R.S.M. Ian is studying music with Prof. Michael Laus and is also reading for a BA (Hons.) degree in Music Studies at the University of Malta.

The performance will commence at 12.35pm and will last for half an hour. Tickets for the price of Lm1 / EUR 2.33 and Lm0.50 / EUR 1.16 for children under 12 years of age and senior citizens, can be purchased from the booking office at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity, Valletta.
