The Employment and Training Corporation will be holding a research forum entitled Early Exit from Employment at the Hotel Phoenicia in Floriana on Tuesday at 2pm.

The forum will address a number of issues pertaining to the experiences of Maltese men who leave work before retirement age. It will be based on the results of a qualitative study conducted among men aged between 55 and 60 years, and who were neither working nor actively in search of a job. The study sought to identify the various pathways into early retirement and how individuals have dealt with the situation.

The forum will also focus on the role of the various stakeholders when faced with the early exit of individuals from the world of work.
