A 25-year-old man from Cospicua was injured after he was shot following an argument in St Francis Street, Balzan at around 5pm. The man was taken to Mater Dei where he was certified to be suffering from light injuries and therefore not in a critical condition, police said.
Duty Magistrate Dr A. Demicoli, who was informed about the case, appointed various experts to help conduct an inquiry.
Police investigations are still under way.
