Over Lm2 million (e4.66m) were spent over the last four years to embellish Valletta, including the new paving work in Merchants Street and adjacent roads, which were officially inaugurated yesterday by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi in the presence of Resources and Infrastructure Minister Ninu Zammit.
