‘Blondphobia’

Malta Independent Friday, 14 December 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Er… Er… excuse me for writing about Marisa Micallef’s opinion – All our blonde moments (TMID 26 November) – seeing as I’m one dumb blonde myself.

But what did exactly Marisa Micallef mean when she said that the natural blondes were not dumb but the unnatural ones are?

Does she actually mean that its some potent mind-wrecking ingredients in the bottle or tubed blonde makeover that make us dumb? Or does going blonde automatically make one transform into some asinine creature?

What a ridiculous article making the writer sound she might have a touch of “blondphobia”.

There are so many people worldwide who “turned blonde” and made such a success of their lives. It’s utterly preposterous to distinguish between a natural blonde and an unnatural blonde’s IQ.

Gee, come to think of it, maybe that’s why I keep putting my boots in the oven and my socks in the refrigerator. Being an unnatural blonde qualifies me as being dumb!

There’s no way on earth I’m dyeing my hair brown just to look intelligent! Intelligent belongs exclusively to you, Marisa!
