Capital Radio has once again launched its seasonal Christmas Secret Santa promotion, offering its listeners the chance of winning up to e6405.78 (LM2750) worth of gifts, some 13 prestigious ones in all. Hints as to this year’s Secret Santa’s identity will be announced, one hint to each day for seven consecutive days, starting on the last week before Christmas Day. Listeners have to list all the hints and put them together in order to fathom out who the personality could be. On the pre-established date which will be announced on-air, listeners will be invited to phone in with their correct name of the Secret Santa. All listeners who give the correct answer will be subsequently contacted by Capital Radio and invited to participate in a treasure hunt for the Secret Santa in Valletta (Gozitan listeners will be contacted one day ahead so they can make traveling arrangements). On the day of the hunt, all participating listeners will be given various clues as to the possible whereabouts of the personality and the first participant to find the Secret Santa will get to win the global prize. Station Director John Mallia and Programme Director Renald Bugeja said, “Last year’s Secret Santa was Andrea Cassar. We had very strong participation even for the final leg of the treasure hunt. Each year we top up our prize since our sponsors are always on the increase… and that makes for one grand Christmas prize for the lucky winner!”
