The government has remained silent to calls from various sectors of society to put a cap on the amount of money that can be won at the Super Five lottery.

I believe that the government should speak up about the matter. There are too many families that are ending up in dire straits because one or more of their members spend too much money gambling, particularly when the Super Five jackpot is high.

There are children who are being left without proper food because their father prefers to risk a few extra liri in an attempt to become rich. Should this be the case?

I think that there should be a limit as to how much the Super Five jackpot can grow. Perhaps it would be wiser to increase the prizes for people guessing three or four numbers, rather than allow the top prize to increase so much.
