May I, through the medium of this newspaper, thank the following for the successful rescue of an injured dog on Monday 12 November at St Julian’s.

Freddie Fenech of the AAA (Abandoned Animals Association), the Civil Protection Dept. who provided Rescue Vehicle GVH455 with its very willing crew members Alex Scicluna and Willie Timothy.

As this rescue was effected from an “abandoned” private property this was also supervised by PC Paul Vella from the St Julian’s Police Station.
