The first to win the Peugeot player of the month award for this season is Hibs’ player Maria Desira.

She was presented this award by Ottavio Terribile, vice- president of the MBA (picture on right.

During the month of November Hibs reached the MBA shield final and started the league with two consecutive victories.

Desira contributed to this success by scoring 77 points. She also had 23 steals making her the third best in the steals record for this season. She also had 62 rebounds which places her in the third place of the top rebounders classification with an average of 10.33 rebounds per game.
