The Malta Red Cross Society said that the appeal for clothing for immigrants which appeared in Daphne Caruana Galizia’s article in The Malta Independent on Sunday of 16 December did not originate from and was not authorised by the Malta Red Cross.
The person referred to as going to collect these articles was also not authorised to do so by the society.
