The Christmas Eve Pontifical High Mass at the Cathedral Church, Mdina, will commence at midnight. The ceremony will be presided over by Archbishop Mgr Paul Cremona O.P., who will be accompanied by the members of the Cathedral Chapter. The celebration starts at 11pm with the singing of Christmas Carols. At 11.30pm there will be a Christmas procession and the Office of Readings, followed by the celebration of Mass.
On Christmas Day, the members of the Cathedral Chapter will take part in a Solemn Concelebration at 9.30am. At 5pm there will be the singing of Evening Prayers, followed by Evening Mass at 6pm.
The End of the Year Celebration on 31 December is to start at 5.30pm with the singing of Evening Prayers. Mass with homily will commence at 6pm. Archbishop Emeritus Mgr. Joseph Mercieca will be presiding. After the Mass a Te Deum will be sung, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration.
