Young Gozitan artist Christopher Saliba is presenting a collection of 20 semi-abstract landscape paintings at the National Museum of Fine Arts in South Street, Valletta.
His paintings mirror the beauty, luminosity and chromatic qualities of the Maltese islands and his vibrant and contrasting colours reflect his urge to transform his sources of inspiration into an abstracted and expressionist imagery.
The exhibition is open to the public Mondays to Sundays from 9am till 5pm (last admission at 4.30pm). For more information one may visit the artist's official website www.gozo-art.com.
The exhibition runs until 28 January.
