The First Hall of Civil Courts refused a request for a prohibitory injunction filed by a company against the Malta Industrial Parks Limited on the grounds that it was asked to stop an eviction which had already been carried out.

Aluminium Extrusions Limited had filed the application against Malta Industrial Parks Limited which was the entity that evicted it from the Hal Far Industrial Park.

In his judgment Mr Justice Geoffrey Valenzia said the lawfulness of the eviction order could be debated before another court; however, he could not inhibit Malta Industrial Parks Limited from stopping doing something which it had already carried out.
