Fairstar in The Netherlands reported that its converted semi-submersible heavy lift vessels Fjord undertook its sea trials last week off Malta.
The company’s other vessel, Fjell, recently transported the float-over deck for the Total Amenam Kpono 2 field from Malaysia to Nigeria.
The deck was skidded onto the vessel over the stern, and discharged by float-over in Nigeria on a pre-installed jacket.
