Emily Abela has won the KPMG Christmas Card competition for 2007.

Emily, who is six-and-a- half, attends San Andrea School and is highly creative. Her representation of the Nativity scene featured in KPMG’s printed Christmas card. Her painting was also included, together with another four paintings by young children from other countries, in KPMG’s electronic Christmas card. Gianluca Gatt from San Anton School placed second in the competition.

This competition forms part of KPMG’s community initiatives and is aimed at encouraging young artists while contributing towards environmental awareness through responsible consumption.

This year KPMG limited the number of Christmas cards printed and sent electronic Christmas cards instead.

Savings from this initiative are being donated to participating schools. KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services. KPMG member firms operate in 145 countries and have 123,000 people working in member firms around the world.
