I refer to the article entitled “The world’s smallest ultrasound unit for Emergency Diagnostics” (TMIS, 23 December) in which the Siemens Acuson P10 mini ultrasound unit was mentioned.

The article spoke of Siemens and MIDI being partners in a joint venture that provides telephony and broadband Internet services for the Tigne and Manoel Island projects. This joint venture has no connection with Siemens Medical.

Our company, Charles de Giorgio Ltd, is the distributor in Malta for Siemens Medical, including Acuson ultrasound.
