Pieta Hotspurs Football nursery youngsters have a trial with Italian Serie A team Empoli

During the past two months, Pieta Hotspurs Youth Nursery, gave the opportunity to various players forming part of their nursery to train and have a trial with Italian Serie A team Empoli. Empoli Youth sector is surely one of the most renowned nurseries in Italy where various players of their youth sector managed to earn a place in their senior team and proceed to other clubs, like Vincenzo Montella.

Eight boys, from various categories, had this opportunity: Matthew Agius, Benjamin Zammit and David Caruana under16, Kyle Cesare and Bedri Ryustemov under 12 and Matthew Grech, Clive Gauci and Ayrton Mizzi under 11. Accompanying these youngsters were Mr.Frankie Ciantar Club Secretary, Mr.Damian Saliba Club Treasurer and Mr.Godfrey Grima Head Coach who visited the settore Giovanile premises, and had the opportunity to follow various training sessions and get to know about their professional set up. The premises at Centro Sportivo Monteboro is very professional with 2 full size pitches, one with real turf and the other artificial and various other synthetic pitches both 8 a-side and 5 a-side. It is situated up a hill in Empoli with nice Tuscany country views. During thier visit they met Mr.Andrea Innocenti, the technical director of the youth sector at Empoli, who followed the Pieta boys attentively and gave the club’s staff various tips how to work with young boys at these age groups. Thanks to this relationship, between Pieta and Empoli scuola Calcio, Pieta boys will definitely earn a lot.
