Two men were yesterday charged with breaking into, and damaging a car on Sunday at 2.45pm at Naxxar.
The men, Alan Gatt, 31, from Pieta and Kevin Camilleri, 25, from Sliema, pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them, which included causing less than e2,329.37 (Lm1,000) in damages to the car. Mr Camilleri alone was accused of relapsing.
Police Inspector Carmelo Abdilla prosecuted. Dr Ian Azzopardi and Dr Kris Busietta appeared for Mr Gatt while Dr Richard Sladden was defence counsel to Mr Camilleri.
