The General Workers Union (GWU), by means of the Professional, Financial and Services Division took note of the intensive work that employees in the financial sector, particularly bank employees, have been doing during the changeover to the euro.
The changeover has been an intense process for these employees and their contribution, including those hours outside their normal routine, needed to be appreciated by everyone, the union said.
