Two men are to be arraigned in court today, to be charged with four hold-ups that took place over the past weeks.

In a statement, the police said that investigations have led to the arrest of two men, in connection with four hold-ups that took place in December and January.

The three hold-ups took place on 27 December from a nail studio in Birkirkara, on 30 December from a hair salon in St Paul's Bay, on 3 January from a shoe shop in San Gwann and on 4 January from a pharmacy in Lija.

One of the men will be charged with his involvement in all four crimes, while the other will be charged with three hold-ups.
