The Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise said that it has been appointed as the accredited local tuition provider of the Association of Business Executives (ABE) of the UK.
The ABE is a UK registered professional business and management qualifications provider and examination board. Established in 1973, ABE enhances the intellectual, social and economic development of individuals and communities through the provision of relevant, high-quality, affordable qualifications. With over 470 accredited tuition providers, students are currently pursuing ABE qualifications in approximately 90 countries worldwide.
Commenting on this recent addition to the Chamber’s business education portfolio, Director-General Kevin J. Borg said that ABE has a varied suite of business and management qualifications and the Chamber will be kicking off these course by offering the Business Management and Human Resource Management streams.
“We are striving to ensure that our business education programme continues to grow, and after introducing the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board (LCCIEB) to Malta way back in 1995, we are now venturing into this new project with vigour, keeping in mind the ever-growing educational needs of people involved in business.”
ABE also develops progression routes for its students and currently has agreements with almost 50 universities internationally. This allows students to fast track to either the third year of a bachelor’s degree or enter a masters programme at university.
Mr Borg added that this is a golden opportunity for all those who are in full-time or part-time employment and who would like to further their career with part-time and evening tuition.
