Matthew Asciak has won his second round match in the tournament in Bergheim, Austria, beating Italian Picco 6-1 6-4. The latter is ranked 600 in the ranking list.

In the first match on Monday, Asciak had beaten Fredrick Ask of Norway 6-1, 6-2.

Asciak, who is sponsored by Lufthansa, will be in action again tomorrow.
