The annual Cage and Aviary Birds Exhibition, organised by the Bird Breeders Association, and this year marking its 25th anniversary, is being held at the Powerhouse Hall, Valletta Waterfront, until Sunday.

Over 1,327 birds in five classes are being exhibited by 98 breeders. These include the coloured canaries, judged by Stephen Ciappara; type canaries, judged by Dutch Case Maandag; the parrot-like section judged by John Mifsud; and the foreign and the European finches judged by the Italian, Peron Guerini.

The exhibition is open today between 5-9 p.m.; tomorrow between 9am and 1pm and from 4 to 10pm; and on Sunday between 8am and 6pm.
