A 22-year-old man yesterday pleaded not guilty to theft and slightly injuring a woman.
Clayton Cremona from Valletta, was accused, before presiding magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona, of theft, on 16 December at around 8pm.
He also pleaded not guilty to the charge of slightly injuring Georgina Borg and relapsing.
Mr Cremona was also accused of committing a crime during the operative term of a suspended sentence and breaching probation.
Magistrate Micallef Trigona denied Mr Cremona bail.
Police Inspector Daniel Zammit prosecuted, while Dr Lino Bianco appeared for the accused.
