The MADC production of Christopher Durang’s Laughing Wild is a provocative study about the perils and stresses of modern life. This slick black comedy features two monologues delivered by its Man and Woman that delve into touchy social issues. The monologues are followed by a final scene in which both players re-enact a disastrous incident at a local supermarket involving a can of tuna fish. Set in the 1980’s, Laughing Wild will resonate strongly with today’s audiences … after all; the rat race has only gotten faster since then.

Polly March directs Denise Mulholland and Alan Montanaro in Durang’s thought-provoking play Laughing Wild which will be presented by the MADC at St James Cavalier between 18 – 20 January, 26 – 27 January and 1 – 3 February.
