Bronk Productions will begin its 2008 season with the comedy Majsi u l-Miljunarju minn Tripli. The popular Majsi character is sure to guarantee laughs with his usual penchant for always getting things wrong.

When Majsi goes to stay with his friend Raymondo and his sister Madalen, he falls in love with Madalen’s daughter Dirjana. Madalen, however, has made up her mind that Dirjana should marry the millionaire from Tripoli. This is when Majsi concocts an elaborate scheme to prevent the marriage.

This comedy is being put up at the Catholic Institute on Saturday 26 January at 6.30pm, Sunday 27 January at 2.30pm and 6.00pm, Saturday 2 February at 7pm and Sunday 3 February at 5pm.

Taking part are Tonio Vella as il-Majsi, Pierre Bonello, MaryRose Mallia, Ian Fenech, Stephanie Grech Mallia, Tania Scicluna, Noel Calleja and Anna Bassily. Directed by Tonio Vella.
