The Assocjazzjoni Sports Muturi is expected to hold an activity tomorrow at Ta’ Qali after having seen the weather playing havoc with their meetings in the past few weeks.

Today’s events start at 10am and these include races in the autocross championship (the final which was scheduled for 25 November), bangers and motocross races.

The finalists in the autocross event are Karmenu Mifsud, Gordon Abela, Patrick Cassar, Mark Galea, James Micallef and James Buttigieg.

The ASM is dedicating this event to the Community Chest Fund. Today’s event is being attended by the president, Dr E. Fenech Adami, Prime Minister Dr Lawrence Gonzi, MLP Deputy leaders Dr Charles Mangion and Michael Falzon, as well as the Minister of Education, responsible for Sport, Dr Louis Galea and Labour MP Carmelo Abela, who is the Shadow Minister for Sport.
