Before leaving Malta after a one-week training camp with his club, Juventus defender, Nicola Legrottaglie, spoke at the Knisja Evangelika Battista.

The event was held on Thursday evening and was co-sponsored by the Church and ministries for the Malta Volunteer Association.

Legrottaglie spoke about his football career and the difference that Jesus Christ makes in his life. He spoke for over an hour in Italian with a Maltese translator, emphasising how faithful God is and that his personal relationship with Christ affects everything he does.

He also spoke of his involvement with Athletes for Christ in Italy and his visit earlier in the day to the Mater Dei Hospital children’s wards with his fellow Juve players. He challenged those gathered to know more of the Bible and walk in obedience to Christ.

Following his presentation, fans enjoyed cake, coffee, and drinks and visiting with Legrottaglie as he signed autographs and took pictures with them.
