This weekend a trap competition on 125 clays was organised at The Malta Shooting Sport Federation ranges in Bidnija for The Vassons Trap Trophy with the best six shooters to qualify for a final barrage of another 25 clays.

Ryan Bugeja was the overall winner with 128 (111+17), Noel Attard was second with 125 (109+16), Eugene Borg third with 122(104+ 18), Warren J.Sammut fourth with 121 (103+18), Darren Xuereb fifth with 119 (102+17) and Joe Attard placed sixth with 118 (103+15).

An Air Rifle competition was also organised at The Larry Vella Shooting Hall where Lawrence Darmanin managed 648.8 (551+9.7) and

Junior shooter Charlo Chircop managed 643.4 (551+8.0)
