The Helping Hands Foundation (HHF) announced that for the second time they are teaming up with The Malta Hospice Movement to publish the 15th edition of the Family Magazine, which is now well established within the Maltese family. The two organisations teamed up during the launching of the seventh edition of the Family Magazine, when the Hospice Movement benefitted from just over €30,280 (Lm13,000). It is now hoped that during the coming campaign this sum would be surpassed.

Besides the usual interesting articles, quizzes, puzzles and prizes, this issue’s first eight pages will be totally dedicated to the Hospice Movement, highlighting the interesting, important and varied work carried out by its personnel. People will be surprised to learn that, contrary to the general perception that the movement is only associated with Cancer patients, in reality it is very different and a lot of other work is done. The Hospice Movement carries out a wide variety of services which need a lot of funding. It is for this reason that the campaign aims to raise the necessary funds.

The HHF are very proud that they are embarking on a second campaign with the Hospice Movement. During the promotional campaigns of the previous 14 editions of the Family Magazine, a total of €380,000 was distributed to various organisations and charities.
