A 24-year-old Scotsman residing in Xemxija, pleaded not guilty to resisting police officers during a football game.

Thomas Aitchison was charged with resisting police officers on 17 October at around 8.45 pm, at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali.

He also pleaded not guilty to threatening police officers and to disobeying police officers.

Mr Aitchison was also charged with breaching the peace and using vulgar language in public.

Dr Kris Busietta and Dr Jason Azzopardi appeared for Mr Aitchison.
