Motor-Sport: Carlos Camilleri Wins Demolition event

Carlos Camilleri, on a Toyota, won last Sunday’s Demolition event organised by the Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi at Ta’ Qali.

Proceeds went towards the Community Chest Fund.

Second to Camilleri was Nicholas Farrugia on a Lada. Twenty five cars took part in the race which lasted around 40 minutes.

In the autocross section, Mario Scicluna, on his Opel, dominated the scene, winning Class A. Class B was won by Chris Aquilina on an Opel 11, while in the Bangers, Toni Spiteri on a 90, won the honours.

In the Motocross section, it was Clayton Camilleri who dominated the day.
