A 31-year-old Serbian, who lives in Malta, was found dead in a residence in Swieqi yesterday afternoon, the police said.

In a statement, the police said that at 2pm it was informed that in a residence in F. Assenza Street, a man had been found dead.

The police went on site and a doctor certified that the man was dead.

An autopsy will be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna appointed several experts to help him draw up a report.

The police are investigating.
