On Saturday 12 January children aged between 9 and 11 experienced their first ever coaching session at the Table Tennis Nursery.

Situated at the Theresa Spinelli Gym, Tal Qroqq, and equipped with six tables, the session consisted of introduction and tuition of the basic bat and ball skills together with the introduction of the basic strokes including fun games.

Sessions are being conducted every Saturday from 4.15pm to 6.15pm for boys and girls.

Talks with the Gzira Local Counsil have commenced in preparation for an open day whereby kids may go to try out the sport and check out the convenience and standard of the centre. For further information the school may be contacted on 9944 6916.
