An engaging reportage on stargazing and the influence of the stars is the central theme of the next show of Terzo Pianeta, a series hosted by Mario Tozzi, airing in prime time on RaiTre, tomorrow at 9.30pm. Once again, this popular Italian TV programme will be featuring Malta or, more accurately, Gozo and the Ggantija Temples.

Do the stars really have a hold on our lives? Does astrology have any basis in scientific fact? The Italian astronaut Roberto Vittori will be travelling with Mario Tozzi.

Gaia is a programme which captures the imagination of those who are interested in the not so ordinary topics of astronomy and its less scientific link, astrology. The Malta Tourism Authority, in a bid to raise Malta’s profile further in Italy, supported the local filming of the latest Gaia series

Malta, because of its strategic position in the centre of the Mediterranean and its numerous temples has much to offer to speculators and theorists basing their discussions on astronomy, stargazing and the influences of the stars.
