As a Sign of Gratitude – an evening of song was recently performed at the St James Cavalier Music Room by upcoming singer Andrew Barberi, who was the recipient of the ‘Louis Naudi Award 2006/7’. The award was launched during the last edition of Voices One Family by Louis Naudi’s brother and sisters and their families as a tribute to this talented musician who passed away a few years ago. Mr Barberi was also given a one-year bursary for singing tuition with singer Denise Mulholland.

The evening consisted of 10 songs, most of which were taken from popular musicals, such as The Lion King, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Misérables. Mr Barberi was accompanied on piano by Alexander Vella Gregory.
