An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with a burglary which took place in Valletta during the early hours of Sunday morning.

At about 2.45am, the police were informed that a burglary had taken place in St Lucy Street and that some electronic equipment had been stolen in the process.

Valletta district police and the Mobile Squad carried out a thorough search of the premises and eventually arrested an 18-year-old who was found inside. He was taken in for questioning.
