Five Premeir League players were yesterday suspended one match each by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

The players are Floriana’s Yala Bolasie, Uzeh Edafe and Mario Muscat of Hibernians as well as Mqabba’s dup Italo Nogueira and Claudio Calleja.

Except for Floriana’s striker Bolasie, the other four players will serve their suspension this weekend as Hibernians play Pieta Hotspurs and Mqabba face Marsaxlokk on Sunday.

Floriana will only be in action on 10 February against Msida St Joseph.
