The UHM is threatening action on behalf of nursing aides and carers, saying that if it did not get any proposals from the health department by the end of this month it would issue industrial directives.
The union is in talks about an agreement for the employees. It said it has had various meetings with the department and the Management and Personnel Office in the Office of the Prime Minister about the nursing aides’ and carers’ conditions of work and allowances.
