To celebrate Pro Life Day, the Malta Unborn Child Movement - which consists of 44 Maltese organisations - will be unveiling a commemorative plaque at Mater Dei Hospital and plant the Tree of Life to mark the movement’s first Charter on the Unborn Child on Saturday 2 February at 11am.

On Pro-Life Day, Sunday 3 February, the movement is organising special activities in Mosta

At 10am, Archbishop Paul Cremona will concelebrate Mass with the College of Parish Priests, an organisation within the movement, at the Mosta parish church.

Prime Minister Dr Lawrence Gonzi and Mrs Gonzi and Dr Angelo Farrugia, Shadow Minister for Justice, will attend the Mass.

At 10.45am the March for Life will start from Mosta Main Square to the monument of the Unborn Child between Mosta and Naxxar, attended by many civil and religious organisations and the general public.

At 11.30am, near the monument of the Unborn Child, there will be pro-life messages from a pregnant mother and her husband, a representative of the movement, a representative of the Association of Local Councils, also an organisation within the movement, the Mayor of Mosta, Dr Angelo Farrugia and Dr Tonio Borg, Deputy Prime Minister.

The general public is cordially invited to attend all activities.
