Maltese photographer and artist Joe P Smith scooped up the first prize in a photographic competition on the theme of “Mani e Gestualità” (Hands and Gestures). This competition is held in Perugia and is organised by Fotoamatori Abruzzesi association. Mr Smith’s winning picture depicts a group of dancers from Clarissa Borg’s Creative Dance Studio. He took this photo during the Summer Arts Festival in 2005 at the Valletta Waterfront
