A 27-year-old man was charged with stealing e232.94 (Lm100) in cash and a golden ring from a residence in Mqabba on 8 December 2004.

Roderick Debono, from Kirkop, pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him, which included causing less than e116.47 (Lm50) damage to the house he broke into.

Magistrate Giovanni Grixti granted him bail against a personal guarantee of e1,000 (Lm429.30)
