MALTA artistically honoured by 72 NATIONS

The Tempra Academy is presenting an exhibition illustrating some of the important Art movements in the 20th and 21st centuries. Important names will sit alongside the creativity of young generations, especially amongst the Maltese artists recipients of awards at the Grolla D’Oro Competition in ITALY and the Malta International Art Biennale.

The exhibition which is on until 2 March, was opened at the Mediterranean Conference Centrethis week.

Prof.Guido de Marco inaugurated the presentation of paintings, watercolours, drawings, graphics, engravings, sculptures, installations, photographs and collages by some 300 artists from 72 nations (30 European), paying tribute to the adventure of Modern Art.

The Tempra Academy is associated to 18 cultural institutions in the world. It has held exhibitions, lectures, recitals, concerts, performances [visual arts, theatrical, musical, literary & poetical (8 languages)], fashion shows, Tarot-readings, films, debates etc..., in various countries, on five continents.

“Theme” exhibitions shown in Europe-USA-Africa and Asia, will be represented:“The Eloquence of Bloom”, “The Art of Portraiture and Caricature”, “The Eloquence of Music”, “Homage to the Horse Figure” (Last Invitation enclosed), “The Eloquence of the Nude Figure”, “Psychological and Spiritual Art of Portrayal” etc

This exhibition renders also homage to the 19th century art movement that made the first step, to depart from traditional figuration: Impressionism.
