‘ASTERIX AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES’

Adventure / Comedy /

Family / Fantasy

It started as a child’s dream. For a long time Thomas Langmann had wanted to transfer “Asterix” to the screen and it is actually he who is behind the screen adaptation of little Gaul’s adventures. Claude Zidi directed Asterix and Obelix Take On Caesar in 1999, which attracted nine million French viewers and Alain Chabat directed Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra in 2002, which attracted almost 15 million French viewers. Thomas Langmann decided very early on to adapt Asterix at the Olympic Games because as he says: “It’s the most visual, spectacular and therefore cinematographic adventure in the Asterix series. The topic itself called for actors from all nationalities, which allowed us to attract foreign – and particularly European – sponsors more easily.”

‘THE WATER HORSE: LEGEND OF THE DEEP’

Rooted in one of the most enduring and intriguing legends of our time, the story begins with an enchanted egg... and what hatches will set in motion an adventure that will take a young boy on the unforgettable journey of a lifetime.
